Biosynthesis and characterization of silver nanoparticles by Aloe vera leaves extract and determination of its antibacterial activity

The current research aimed to produce Silver nanoparticles by green synthesis from Aloe vera leaf extract which was a crucial field because of its cost-effectiveness, environmental friendliness, and low toxicity evaluating the antibacterial properties against gram-positive bacteria (Staphylococcus epidermidis Staphylococcus aureus) gram-negative (Pseudomonas aeruginosa Acinetobacter baumannii). were characterized using Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) that used determine average size form 55 nm. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) show AgNPs have spherical smooth surface region. UV– visible spectroscopy (UV-Vis) measure wavelength range, showed sharp peak at 450 X-ray Diffraction (XRD) three strongest peaks, measured particle sizes 15.4 18.3 22.1 Different functional groups biomolecules are responsible for reduction capping processes, as shown Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR). concentrations (12.5, 25, 50 and100) mg/ml examined multiple drug resistance (MDR) isolates, results highest diameter inhibition zone S. aureus, epidermidis, A. baumannii P. (22, 23, 20 21) mm respectively concentration (100) lowest (12.5) same isolates (12, 11, 10 and10) respectively.
